Food Walk-Up Distribution
For Thursday, February 22nd there will be food for 300 families with the following items: Dry/Canned: Vegetable Soup, Canned Green Beans, Raisins, Jam, English Walnut Pieces, Dry Garbanzo Beans, Lentils, Mac & Cheese, Canned Tuna, and Chicken Pouch Meat. Frozen: Fish. Produce: Potatoes, Carrots and Mixed Bag of Apples and Oranges.

Twin Rivers Food Distribution

Twin Rivers Unified School District operates food distributions providing FREE food to low-income community members with the support of the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. Eligible participants will walk up and choose from grocery items. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
 
Frequently Asked Questions:
  • What do I need to bring? Please bring bags or a cart to make it easier for you to choose and carry your food.
  • What type of groceries will I receive? You will be able to choose from a variety of foods such as fresh produce, grains, protein, dairy, non-perishables and ready-to-eat foods. Participants receive approximately 30 pounds of food.
  • I am interested. What do I need to sign up? Participants will register in-person during the check-in process of the food distribution and collect the necessary information to create a profile in our online system. Please bring a form of identification to help with the intake process.     
  • Am I eligible? To be eligible, you must meet the income guidelines:

Twin Rivers Walk-Up Food Distribution is located in the S-Building at Highlands High School on 6601 Guthrie St., North Highlands, CA 95660.

Twin Rivers Food Distribution happens the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm on the following dates (unless otherwise noted):
