Vision
In order to facilitate rigorous, culturally inclusive, standards-based instruction to challenge ALL students academically, we provide high quality curriculum, expanded learning, professional development and instructional materials for teachers, staff and families.
 
Mission
Ensure that ALL students are able to function within a culturally diverse society and the global arena by promoting high levels of student learning through the following practices:
  • developing a guaranteed and viable curriculum that is both challenging and engaging
  • removing barriers and ensure equitable access for ALL students to succeed in rigorous programs
  • providing learning opportunities that take youth beyond their current experience and expand their horizons through high quality expanded learning and summer programs
  • increasing human capital through researched-based professional development
  • providing standards-based instructional materials
 
Standards of Excellence
  • ALL students are ensured equitable access to the same high-quality curriculum and instruction district-wide
  • Students will have access to summer school, expanded learning programs and credit recovery
  • All district personnel are provided with opportunities to participate in research-based professional development to improve knowledge and skills
  • Instructional materials are delivered within 24 hours of request

EVENT SUPPORT & SUB REQUEST

District-wide, we have limited substitute resources available each day. We must ensure our students have a qualified substitute teacher whenever their classroom teacher is away. We have put together a short video that will outline the improvements to our sub approval processes.
