Johnathon Stige
Custodial and Maintenance Services
Head Custodian I, Kohler Elementary

Mr. Stige, also known as Coach JJ, has been so amazing this school year. He has stepped up this year to work two peoples’ shifts. Despite having to do two people's shifts in one shift, Coach JJ is a positive force on our campus. Coach JJ is also a mentor for several of our students on campus. He coaches dodgeball and basketball at Kohler.

Jennifer Lynn
Health and Student Services
Health Services Assistant, Rio Linda Preparatory Academy

Ms. Lynn has been amazing this year, especially when it comes to all the COVID situations she has been presented with. She is a team player and is willing to help in any situation or circumstance throughout the school. She is a valuable member of our RLPA team.

Ronald Thomas
Paraprofessional Services
Paraeducator II, Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Academy

Mr. Thomas is a dedicated employee who goes above and beyond for our students. As a paraeducator in the SPED department, he supports teachers in all subject areas by "pushing in" and working with all students to improve their understanding of the content area and ensure student accommodations are being implemented. Mr. Thomas supports teachers and students outside of the class as well, attending events, supervising sports and volunteering for extra duties when necessary. The MLKTA family is lucky to have such a dedicated and supportive employee working with our students and instructional staff.

Anthony "Tony" Pettinari
Skilled Trades Services
Delivery Specialist/Driver, Winona Center Warehouse

Tony has proven he’s an employee that can be depended on and always shows up to work ready for any given task. He is always willing to give a helping hand here at the warehouse or at any Twin Rivers sites. Tony is a worker that takes pride in whatever he does at Twin Rivers, from delivering the mail, pulling orders, helping with the COVID clinic or any special project he is put on. He is the employee that goes the extra mile after the extra mile, which may sound funny but if you know him you will understand. If you see him at a site he’s always working hard but no matter how busy he is, he will stop whatever he’s doing to help out anyone in need and still have a smile on his face. He’s a great role model for other Twin Rivers staff to look up to and he represents how we operate at Twin Rivers School District.

These four district classified employees will be interviewed by SCOE to be considered as the Sacramento County Office of Education Classified Employee of the Year in the categories indicated for each nominee.
