Special Education
The Special Education Department provides services to children with disabilities in the district, ages 3-22. Our department includes speech and language specialists, psychologists, special education teachers and paraeducators. The Special Education Department supports the mission of the district by:
- Coordinating special education programs and processes
- Supporting the district's educational program
- Meeting federal and state requirements
Charter Oversight
Dr. Lori Grace is responsible for coordinating the review of renwal and new charter school petitions along with Independent Charter school oversight. Independent Charters are schools that are formed by parents, teachers, community members or charter management organizations. For more information on charter school oversight please click HERE.
