Project Find 'em Wins 2017 Golden Bell Award
Our Student Services staff recently won the 2017 Golden Bell Award for Project Find 'em, a program that supports students who are in danger of not graduating or who have dropped out of school. The Golden Bell Award, which is given by the California School Boards Association, recognizes Project Find 'em as an outstanding program that highlights best practices in education.
Project-Find-'em began working with students in the 2013-2014 school year. The program works to build an overall coherent system as staff from the district office, high school academic counselors and adult education educators all work together to support students. Project-Find-'em re-engages students who have been lost from the system and supports them to be successful.
