Our Services
The Special Education Department provides services to children with disabilities in the district, ages 3-22. Our department includes speech and language specialists, psychologists, special education teachers and paraeducators. The Special Education Department supports the mission of the district by:
- Coordinating special education programs and processes
- Supporting the district's educational program
- Meeting federal and state requirements
Day of the Special Educator
The Twin Rivers Unified School District Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 296 designating Friday, December 2, 2011 as Day of the Special Educator, which recognizes the hard work and dedication of special educators in teaching the unique needs of our students.
