Purpose
To deliver to the the Participating Teacher quality services that will enhance the academic achievement and overall growth of students and retain well-qualified teachers in the profession.
Requirements for Completing the BTSA Program

SCOE Induction Orientation

Weekly Conversations (40 hours total)

Professional Development (24 hours minimum)

SCOE Benchmark Seminars (quarterly)

Professional Induction Presentation (End-of-Year Event)
CSUS Units (Optional)
- Six (6) units per year at a cost of $360
- Request registration through SCOE after March 15, 2010
- Must document 24 hours of Professional Development connected to IPP
- All BTSA tasks must be complete to receive units
- Deadline for registration is June 10, 2011
