Job Opportunities Hosted on Ed-Join

Certificated Substitute Information:

·          Requirements:

1.      30 Day Emergency Substitute Permit issued by the California Teaching Commission who requires the following:

a.     Hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university; and

b.     Pass a Basic Skills Test (http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl667.pdf)

Testing Information

Proficiency Testing

Testing is held every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  This is a two hour test and an appointment is not necessary. Please arrive a few minutes early as the door closes promptly at 9:30 a.m. 

 

Please call to schedule an appointment at 916-566-1600 x50366 if you are interested in reviewing the study guide.  Appointments will only be scheduled on Monday or Friday from 8:30-11:30.

 

Typing Test

Typing tests are offered at Twin Rivers Adult School at our 5703 Skvarla Ave., McClellan, CA  95652.  Tests are by appointment only.  Please contact Lana Vahchuama, 916-566-1600 x66909, or Lana.Vahchuama@twinriversusd.org to schedule an appointment.  Cost is $10.00 (No fee for Twin Rivers Unified School District Employees.)

Live Scan

Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.   12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Days:  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only

Cost:   $48.00 - $67.00

What you must bring:  Valid Drivers License or acceptable photo ID. 

Frequent Volunteers must bring signed form from the school site.

All frequent volunteers must pay for the live scan.
