2011 Summer Facilities Improvements Support Grade Reconfigurations

While students enjoy some time off this summer, the Twin Rivers Facilities Planning & Construction Department is making many improvements on campuses throughout our district. The improvements will accommodate many of the grade reconfigurations on campuses that our communities supported and the board has approved over the past few years. The Facilities Planning & Construction Department accommodates our district's academic programs with healthy, safe and secure environments that enable students to optimize their learning experience.

  • Del Paso Elementary ~ Relocating four portable buildings on the campus, receiving a new administration building, adding a parking lot; these campus updates will accommodate students coming from North Avenue School and additional staff
  • FC Joyce ~ Eleven portable rooms will be brought to the Joyce campus that will serve students in grades K-8
  • Foothill Ranch ~ This recently renamed middle school campus will accommodate students in grades 5-8, more bathrooms will be added to the campus
  • Harmon Johnson 2.0 ~ Becoming a 3-6 grade campus with students and classroom supplies coming from Noralto Elementary
  • Grant High ~ HVAC installation in 20 classrooms
  • Kohler ~ Three portable classrooms and one bathroom will added to the Kohler campus that will serve students in grades K-8

  • Pacfic High ~ Moving location to former Larchmont campus
  • Ridgepoint ~ Create a 7th/8th grade quad with the addition of two portable classrooms; establish a one-way drop off to alleviate parking congestion
