Back to School

The 2018-2019 school year begins on Monday, August 20, 2018! Make sure your children get a good night's rest before school starts (and every night) and are on time for school everyday. Please ensure your children's success in school by reviewing some of the important resources below.

Healthy Back to School Habits
From packing healthy lunches to fitting in family physical activities, keep your kids on the right track this school year with these tips:

Immunizations & Health Care
Make sure your children have all shots required by California State law, so they don't miss out on the first day of school! The first and best resource for childhood immunizations is your primary care physician. If your child needs immediate immunizations to enroll in school, contact your primary care physician for a same day or drop-in appointment. If you do not have a primary care physician, see the "Immunization & Health Care Resource sheet linked below. Please do not hesitate to contact the school nurse if you need further assistance.

Rules for Riding the Bus
Before school starts, make sure both you and your child know the rules and regulations for riding the school bus.
