Mission

The Maintenance and Repair Department is dedicated to providing safe and aesthetically pleasing learning environments. We approach our work with a professional and determined mindset, helping to create and maintain a sense of community pride and ownership for all. Our department coordinates labor and resources necessary to maintain and repair district sites and property, which includes buildings, equipment, grounds and utilities.

Grounds Department

The Grounds Department is dedicated to providing a variety of maintenance, aeration, fertilization and mowing services year-round; creating healthy lawn areas, playgrounds and infrastructure for our students and community.  

The following duties will be addressed on mow days:  
 
  • Mowing field turf areas (essential)
  • Mowing courtyard areas (essential)
  • Edging sidewalk areas (essential)
  • Blowing halls, sidewalks and turf areas (essential)
  • Weed eating and/or pulling where needed
  • Spraying where needed
  • Trimming hedges, bushes, and trees where needed
  • Overall grounds inspection: curb appeal, cleanliness including documenting grounds and irrigation issues
